The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) launched the manhunt following the septet's recent exploits at a liquor store in Two Rivers Mall.

Detectives from the investigative agency are relying on the liquor store's CCTV after the gang were captured in action.

According to the store, two people were on duty on Sunday, April 28, when the gang executed their plan.

"They were four men and three ladies but they were here to steal. So while they were going around we had two staff working; one at the cashier and they was a lady on the floor," said the staff.

In the CCTV footage, the seven; three ladies and four men walk in casually into the store as regular customers.

They slowly move into different aisles in the shop, oblivious to 'Big Brother' watching from above.

In one of the aisles, a man picks a KSh 44,000 cognac and looks at it for some time before handing it over to a lady who immediately hides it between her legs.

The gang quickly flood the cashier's desk, giving the lady an opportunity to stroll out of the shop comfortably.

In another quick movement, the man hands the second lady another drink as she walks out without raising suspicion.

They reportedly made away with drinks worth at least KSh 100,000.

By the time their act had been discovered, the gang had escaped the mall, leaving the store with hopes that the police would catch up with them.

CCTV camera captures thugs stealing food from delivery man

Separately, a delivery man became the target of three ruthless thugs in a shocking incident captured on camera.

The thieves snatched the delivery guy’s phone and raided the food in his delivery box, leaving him powerless.
